Working alongside the Neighbourhood Nursery Initiative, Sure Start North Kensington and the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea regeneration programme, the development included restoring a Grade II listed Maxwell Fry and Elizabeth Denby building for the use of a new nursery in a small social housing estate. While reinstating as many original features as possible and removing a series of unsympathetic 1970s extensions, some minor alterations to the internal layout were designed to accommodate the building’s new function.
